Red Velvet Cake Balls

Here are some pictures of my first attempt at making Cake Balls.

What I Used:
Red Velvet Cake
Cream Cheese Icing
White chocolate chips
Milk chocolate chips

You start by baking the cake as directed on the box. While cake is still warm crumble it up into a bowl. Mix in icing and allow to cool in fridge before forming into balls. I have found if you let the icing and cake mix cool it is less sticky when you roll it. Set in the fridge for an hour or so to cool. If you don't want to wait you can stick them in the freezer for 15 minutes. The cooler the cake balls are the faster the melted coating will dry. Once cooled melt the chocolate and dip them into it. Decorate as desired.

I made some with sprinkles as well, but I didn't take any pictures of them. I used some of the left over melted chocolate and drizzled it over the white chocolate ones. One the milk chocolate ones I crushed up some of the left over white chocolate after it hardened and sprinkled onto the chocolate coated ones. Hope you enjoy! They were delicious.
