Gobble Gobble

These are my Thanksgiving cupcakes! Cute, fun and easy to make. They're chocolate cupcakes covered with chocoalte icing. I used candy corn for the feathers and nose and white pearl sprinkles for the eyes. I used an edibile icing pen to place the black on the eyes. Last I used chocolate sprinkles on the back of the turkey. Enjoy!

Chocolate Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made as a request by my youngest son Trevor. He informed me one morning while getting ready for school that it was his teacher's birthday and he wanted me to make cupcakes. He said he wanted chocoalte cupcakes iced with either chocolate icing or pink (strawberry) icing. I decided to make a variety considering kids ages 6 and 7 are usually picky eaters. I was amazed to find that there are kids that age that don't like sprinkles!! They were a surprise for his class and teacher. I was shocked he was able to keep it a secret. After looking at these cupcakes I feel they could also be used for a girl themed baby shower. They were a big hit, atleast that is what I am assuming from all the "Thank You Trevor's Mom" comments, haha.

More Birthday Cupcakes!

These are red velvet cupcakes topped with pink cream cheese icing. There are two yellow fondant roses I made that I placed on two of the cupcakes. I had not attempted any sort of flowers with fondant so I thought I would give it a whirl after her daughter told me she liked yellow roses. Made these as a little gift for my aunt for her birthday, what women doesn't like sweets!

What I Used:
Red Velvet Cake
Cream Cheese Icing

Happy Halloween

I made an order of 4 dozen cupcakes last week, just in time for Halloween. I decorated them in a few ways such as spiderwebs, orange icing, candy corn on some and added Halloween picks to others. There were a dozen that I just iced with chocolate icing as well. The flavors consisted of chocolate, red velvet, yellow cake and also chocolate/yellow cake mixed (kind of like marble cake). They were so fun to make!! There is so many things you can do with a cupcake.

What I Used:
